Supposedly, an Apple engineer left this on a barstool in Redwood City and Gawker paid $5,000 for it. I'm a bit skeptical that this was an unintentional leak, given Apple's penchant for secrecy. What Gizmodo {a property of Gawker} reported on the new iPhone wasn't exactly earth-shattering, but was grist for the PR rumour mills and makes for some good theatre.
